As a big fan of the show, I'm okay with not coming back. The 2nd season really ended on a definitive end for most of the characters and I think Soderbergh was done directing it or moved on to another project(s). His direction, along with the actors really made the show stand out.

Probably best to let Cocaine Thack rest in peace.

I can't believe they let it be even a possibility for the past year and a half that it would actually come back. Always sounded stupid to me

Season 2 wasn't flames and rumours for s3 was they were going to time jump that rarely works even in sci fi series (check alias)..The hole of Thackeray's absence would have been too noticeable
