yall buying it? Are yall feeling the spirit of Pac through Kendrick? Is Kendrick this generations "Tupac"?

I almost threw up in my mouth at this pic, horrifically corny, and Kendrick is my dude :scust:

But no, Kendrick is not the new Pac. He isn't as charismatic or as compelling as Pac. Kendrick makes great songs but none of them really have the kind of impact that Pac's music has. Kendrick has potential though, and I think that he will become one of the greats. But much like the Nas comparisons, the Pac comparisons are just waaay off base.

He will only become the image interscope purchases . His music is ineffective. This dude is near 30 hes never reaching pac or nas.

I think yall are kind of missing the point a little bit, at least from Kendricks POV.

The public might be laying the comparisons on a little thick but his aim from what I can tell is not to be the new Pac...but to bring balance to the concept of 2pac and who he was as an artist and an individual and what he was putting on the big screen for us to learn from. He's not next (nor is he trying to be), he's the byproduct trying to reconcile the duality consciousness of the young black male that 2pac represented in extremes.

Yall so eager to do 1:1 comparisons that you're missing the point.

pac had a better voice, and could communicate emotion better. kendricks voice is his weakness. he the best of his era though.

:what: What in the fukk are you talking about? Kendrick is trying to "balance" the concept of Pac? "Duality consciousness" of black males? You sound like a smart dumb nikka :mjlol:

Music-wise, kendrick comes very close to pac (especially works like section .80 or OD), Kendrick's just a lot less charismatic and has a lot less influence than Tupac.

Maybe he'll earn that influence with time tho :yeshrug:
