Jcrossover wouldn't be bad for free tho, especially if can't get Wilson C, JJ. His catch and shoot metrics are in line with J.R.'s and he's a far better creator off the dribble.
Ranked 32rd in the NBA in 3PT catch and shoot percentage at 38.1% (min 3 attempts per game).
Ranked 22rd in the NBA in catch and shoot EFG at 57.1% (min 3 attempts per game).
Ranked 20th in the NBA in catch and shoot FG percentage at 40.3% (min 3 attempts per game).
He's also an absolute ELITE mid range shooter, posting a crazy 44.9% from 16-22ft. For reference, Steph Curry shot 44.3% from that distance this year. I don't mind having another player that is comfortable dribbling the ball with ease

Crawford is too much of a wild card. He takes way too many fluky dumb shots.
Sometimes they go in but I'm not comfortable with dude in a tight playoff series.

I know me too, I had to look it up and his jump shoot is straight butter. It's all those dumb shots that make him an inefficient player tho. Maybe that changes with Bron/Kyrie/Love? On the Clippers he was the second ball handler because Reddikk runs off screens and Austin Rivers is too inconsistent. I don't know, I think he might thrive with Elite players around him. He still has incredible quickness for his age.I didn't know he shot this well.

Crawford was pretty good in the playoffs for the Clippers this past year. They wouldn't have made it past the Spurs without him creating offense.Trading the Haywood contract for him is a mistake though because it would burn an asset the Cavs could use to get out from under the Varejao contract, and they can simply re-sign JR for bench scoring.
Joe Johnson is an ideal Lebron backup that can shoot, create his own shot , and pass. With Andy off the books and JJ expiring you don't have to worry about paying or bringing either back. Gilbert knew he was going to spend record numbers when they decided to bring in Love, so why skimp out now when you're filling out the roster?

That kind of bench depth preserves your starters and keeps everyone involved by the time the playoffs hit. If disaster strikes again they gotta be ready. Spend that shyt.
