If there are better options available I'm 100% sure the Cavs would look into it. But for $3.4 million a season theres not much you can get.

Also, JJ plays 3-4 not 2-3.

Yes, I'm aware that Jones plays the 3/4, however based on his age, declining athleticism, minutes played coming off the bench & skill set of specifically shooting 3's he's in the game to specifically space the floor and score from long range just like Dunleavy jr. is now, so position variables aside between the 2 players, their roles primarily would be just the same. And also I still don't think you are factoring in Mike Dunleavy jr's. injury history & potential lack of durability. Possibly Marco Belinelli or Dorell Wright would be way better options for the Cavs to go after than a declining bum like Dunleavy.

They probably prefer splinter and can trade him. They don't need either just the one with the highest value.

Diaw has non guaranteed contract which will be worth about $7.5 mil summer of next season. He would be of more value a year from now.

Thanks man I did not know that. But I doubt the Cavs keep either one if they were to get one of them. They need to flip either one for a wing player.

Dorell Wright is too expensive for the mini MLE and I don't see where bellinelli fits unless JR smith goes somewhere else.

I don't think Dunleavy is as bad as ur making him out to be. Cavs will be looking for the best possible fit for our team.

Anybody got some links?
http://basketball.realgm.com/wireta...s-On-Brendan-Haywoods-Non-Guaranteed-Contract

The San Antonio Spurs are discussing acquiring the non-guaranteed contract of Brendan Haywood from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Haywood's contract has a trade value of $10.5 million.

The Spurs have interest in trading away Tiago Splitter to create cap room in their pursuit of LaMarcus Aldridge. Patty Mills could also be dealt for the Spurs to create additional cap space. Boris Diaw is another potential trade candidate.

Exciting summer. I rather have Mills/Splitter... Spilter is a excellent rim protector. If Mosgov gets injured next year were fukked again. Andy is the only player on the team that is redundant. Mills is instant offense and jumper is constantly on, plus he's only 26. I rather have Mills then Mo Williams
