If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
I felt like Sareb was kinda a fukk boy. Like, how are you engaging in a budding bro-ship where the probability Durst killed your mom (or had her killed) is fairly high? How do you accept money from this individual for college? He couldn't tell that was a quasi-payoff? :dahell:

Jurors are so dumb. There's no way in hell someone could have convinced me of not guilty if I were on the Galveston jury. I'd be sitting in deliberation like, "guitly :birdman:." I would've hung the jury. I don't give a fukk; but I wouldn't have voted not guilty, ever.

He was sad, and someone was trying to be nice to him in addition to providing financial support, that can cloud your judgment.

Sareb was young and getting essentially 100k from him at the age of like 19. He was still a kid and choose to ignore certain signs. Plus they did say his moms had money issues and it's possible other people could have killed her. You got to remember we watching a show that has a distinct narrative and agenda focused on one man and his actions in real life it doesn't come across so clear cut or obvious.

The most intriguing shyt I've watched in a while. I was riding with him til the letter honestly. I did'nt know much about the case til I saw this doc.

I was like ehh maybe the brother set him up....ehh maybe he has enemies

Then I saw the letters and even I had to pause get up and get something to drink because at that point I'm like holy shyt this dude murdered all these people and the only reason he's escaped is because he has bread, good lawyers, and because the people investigating this shyt were not looking in the right places.

And his shyt was actually wild sloppy too...there are unsolved murders way cleaner than this. He is one of these rich folk that think they're invincible. That's the only reason why I think someone would be this sloppy.

He either deep down wanted to get caught or he was just so aloof he figured he would never be caught and wanted to rub it in. Why else would he do the show in the first place.

Unbelievable. Incredible. I thought Serial was good. I had the finale spoiled for me, but still...

I still can't believe that happened. What the fukk? The hubris of this man. Check the clip below. He literally wipes the fukking smile off his face.

I really believe somewhere deep down that he wanted to get caught. Same with OJ. Or maybe he just wanted everyone to KNOW that he did it, but still get away with it. Why else would he shoplift? I can't believe this guy chopped up a body and got off on self-defense.

What's the over/under for total bodies that this guy has? I know he's suspected in at least 1 more since this show ended. That hot mic.
:wow:

BTW there were a couple of years between the first interview and the second interview, so people confused as to why he wouldn't remember he'd spoken to himself with a mic still on before, I think the time gap and the age play a big factor in that.

That convo was like he was almost talking to a voice in his head. So creepy. I thought more damning than him saying "Killed them all, of course" was when he said "That's it, you're caught." The "killed them all" statement could've been flippant or sarcastic. But I don't see any other way to interpret "You're caught."

I never knew about this guy before this documentary. Still pretty stunned. Awesome mini-series. I expect a lot more stuff like this and Serial coming out. It's really hot right now, this true crime stuff.

Here's a really cool article on how the filming and cinematography of the final episode really brought in the viewers to make us feel like we were a part of everything.
