Refute the statistic
:russ:

Nothing to do with the Celtics being #1 defensive team in the league and the tallest more physical, more versatile, more athletic team they faced in the playoffs. Remember the Dallas series when they used to walk into the paint without any resistance? Not happening anymore. Curry used to sit and Poole would come in and penetrate and get easy baskets.

They’re -19 in the paint in this series compared to Dallas and it could be worse Rob playing less than 20 minutes per game.

Oh naw I ain't taking no credit away from y'all, y'all t'n tf up....but that statistic is that statistic. It's not hyperbole to say Steph is carrying scrubs rn man.
If this were any other superstar, on any other franchise with supporting help that didn't have the same name recognition...it wouldn't even debatable what this is. But folks caught up in the names, of the players and franchise brand alike

All them nikkas been trash to me, y'all just exposing what myself, Gil and blue been saying all year.

There's been a TON of 90's Bulls vs. GSW threads on here over the years. Celts are playing pretty well vs. GSW so far...

That has me contemplating some on the 90s Bulls. MJ and Pippen are a far more advanced wing combo than a young Tatum/Brown combo.

MJ would get easier point than Tatum or Brown. Pippen just as explosive as Brown. Pippen/MJ are better defenders than Brown/Tatum are currently as well..

Rodman would clean up on the boards and have Dray going crazy. Harper another guy who can defend. Tony another guy that can give the Bulls some offense.

Why would the Bulls not have success? Doesn't this so far end that debate :jbhmm:

Don’t forget Steve Kerr spot up behind the 3 point line when Jordan gets doubled.

Who ever compared the 2022 Warriors to the Bulls? :dahell:

KD ain't there, Iggy ain't there, Klay isn't what he was pre-injury, and Draymond is a shell of his former self.

And you seem to be doing the typical shyt of taking historical player peaks rather than the actual year in discussion. If you have Rodman on the team then you're talking the 1996-1998 Bulls. That version of Scottie wasn't nearly as explosive or as reliable a scorer as Jaylen Brown is (41% fg and 29% 3pt those three postseasons even with the shortened 3pt line). That version of MJ had regressed a ton defensively and tried to rest on that end (which is why they turned Ron Harper into a defensive specialist and gave MJ the easiest assignment in the backcourt).

Also low-key the zone would have been fatal for those 1990s Bulls teams. If you have Rodman/Harper on the court then you have two guys who don't even really need to be guarded, MJ is gonna have a hedge around him on every play and they might even be denying him. But if you have Kerr/Kukoc on the floor then you're exploitable as fukk on the other end. And Longley is too slow to fill your needs on either end of the court - on offense he's easy to shift away from cause you'll get right back before he's made a move, and on defense he wouldn't have a prayer of covering the court.
