Rewatching some of the games today and Marcus Smart should return that DPOY trophy. Dude was flopping all over the place the entire series. That ain't defense and that ain't basketball. :scust:
Floppin and trying to dive into dudes legs and knees… Smh mans got exposed bad

Smart flopped and was holding his face while laying on the floor and Curry hit a 30 foot 3 and told them nikkas it’s night night time lmao

He need to send that award back
He switched off Steph in the 4Q in game 6 and left Horford out to dry the same way Lebron switched off KD and let JR Smith get cooked :mjlol:

I noticed that too. They weren't even setting a hard screen either. Dude quit and basically told Horford, you go stop him.

I said it before before the series, dudes talking about how the Celtics defense was built to give the Dubs fits, the stress the GS offense puts on you physically and mentally in a playoff series is still underrated somehow. Still nothing else like it in the league. You focus on Steph or Klay or Wiggins or Poole too much and Dray will hit a GPII type role player for an easy lay up on a backdoor cut in a heartbeat. It's one thing to shut it down for a game or two, another to do it for a whole series. 8 years and counting nobody been able to do it when the team's at full strength

You could tell Boston was physically and mentally fatigued by games 5 and 6

:mjlol: man get out of here talking about gsw system, how about the fact Boston had a tougher road/conference to the finals. GSW once again benefitted from right place at the right time. We've seen what that system is about when the road gets rough.

Funny how it go from "GS ain't seen a team as tough and physical as Boston, they ain't ready and Boston is battle tested" to crying about refs and GS having an easier path.

None of yall talked about an easy path in 2016 when GS had multiple serious injuries including their best player missing 6 games and playing on a bad knee, and overcoming a 3-1 deficit against a stacked OKC team while Cleveland cakewalked through a garbage East

Just like yall complain about GS benefitting from injuries but quick to talk about how they got exposed in 16 and 19 when they had serious injury issues of their own

You just got a weird and irrational hatred for GS, to the point you were jocking Boston as a Pistons fan :scust:

😂 Exactly what I told him before the series...like dude, you are a Pistons fan and you're finna be rooting for the Celtics. Just sit and think about that cuz you might need to reevaluate whether you're more of a fan of your "team", or you've just become overwhelmed with an obsession and hate for a franchise/player that have clearly passed up both your franchise and franchises greatest player if it's come to that.

It's ok man. Just let it go bro, it's over. Like why are you even in this thread this many days removed from the final game 😂😂 @NormanConnors

lebron faced non-contending teams during his second stint in cleveland the ENTIRE team he was there, while it was a bloodbath in the west, and nikkas acting like the warriors got an easy road. Like Steph didnt play the MVP, the MIP and All NBA 2nd team player (who ass we were whooping before he went down), and a 1st team all-NBA player to get to the finals

....then played ANOTHER 1st team all NBA player and the DPOY, and a historically good defense in the finals.

nikka please. Get that hate out your heart

The contradictions of GS hater logic completely imploded this year but a few of em still out here loud and proud :mjlol:

Hilarious how stupid some of these arguments look now

Players are soft and overrated, but Kerr and his system are weak too, none of em deserve any credit for winning

They lucked their way into making 6 Finals and winning 4

Won playoff series starting down 1-3, 2-3 with game 7 on the the road, and three times they started down 1-2 then won 3 straight to close out including twice in the Finals, but they frontrunners who quit soon as shyt don't go their way

When they win, it's only because of injuries. But when they lose, their best players being hurt made no difference

This Finals the ultimate example. Beforehand, GS was a tuxedo team, they don't wanna fight. Boston is younger, bigger, stronger, faster, tougher and GS is gonna crumble. Then at the end when Boston is looking shook and collapsing in crunchtime three games in a row, it's only because of the refs and Boston playing more games on the way to the Finals, nothing to do with GS at all :sadbron:

The Celtics switch everything. They haven't fought through screens all season. That is their defensive scheme. I'm not even sure how you could have watched this series (or frankly, any series or regular season games) and not recognize that
