Can't wait for South Park to do an episode on this.

I don't think this sets a precedent. If that leak didn't happen, people would be chomping on popcorn and laughing at those dumbass jokes lol. Of course I'm understating this, but there must be some real incriminating data that wasn't released to the gen. public. I've heard that they have SSN#, bank/credit cards, and personal info. If I was an employee of Sony, I wouldn't want that shyt released either.

White celebs up in arms about freedom of speech. GTFOH.

The video which outraged America by depicting the assassination of President George W Bush has won an award at the Toronto film festival.

British director Gabriel Range's "Death of a President" stirred up a strong reaction even before it premiered at the festival, but it won the Prize of the International Critics.

The jury of film critics cited the film "for the audacity with which it distorts reality to reveal a larger truth."

The shocking footage, which you can preview exclusively here, is from a new Channel 4 movie to be broadcast on More4 in October.

"Death of a President" chronicles the sniper shooting of Bush on October 19, 2007, during a trip to Chicago and the ensuing investigation.

The film blends archival footage of Bush interspersed with fierce anti-war protests and other fictional scenes crafted by the filmmakers.

Actors posing as administration officials and Secret Service agents were digitally grafted into some images of the president and his entourage.

The filmmakers said they chose to use Bush rather than substitute a fictitious president to heighten the authenticity.

"I'm thrilled that the film is going to be shown in cinemas in the US in the near future," Mr Range said. "That's proof that people can see beyond the premise and see that it's a film about this post-9/11 world that we live in."

However, the £2million movie sparked controversy in America and the British film-makers had to be guarded by private security men at the film festival after threats were made on their lives.

They don't need bank numbers or any of that shyt. The damage isn't as overt as that but it's just as bad.

For example, the last "Spider-Man" movie did $700 mill, so Sony should have a huge amount of leverage to negotiate with Marvel. But due to these leaks they don't, and they'll most likely have to negotiate from a position of weakness, for a lot less money.

It was a horrible idea for a movie. Everyone knows America and North Korea have horrible relations. I'm all for freedom of speech but it's not even a good concept for a movie. Imagine China or North Korea doing a "Killing of Obama" comedy with him eating Chicken right before they blow him up. Some people in the US would be calling for heads to roll in protest. So it wasn't a good concept the reason Sony is cancelling it is cause even Theaters felt it was disrespectful. Dictator or not Kim jr is the living President of a country.
Fixed. You know cacs would love that shyt.

Is there any chance for a Blu-ray release of this in the future or they just going to throw it in the bushes completely?
