There is absolutely no integrity in the art anymore so y’all might as well bite each other’s flows. It doesn’t matter anymore.

even if a boogie was influenced by speaker knockerz and dej loaf, which im not gonna deny because its merit to that claim.... he obviously had the biggest impact out of them, its like how wayne took his whole shyt from dipset but you can still distinct who the wayne clones are, drake took his whole shyt from 808s but nobody is calling tory lanez or other people he inspired a fake kanye

but because a boogie is from NY bitter coli fukkboys refuse to give any credit since he doesnt sound like a member of the boot camp clik

wasnt nobody from NY or in the mainstream in general coming out doing that style in this era until a boogie, dej loaf was already washed and speaker knockerz(rest his soul) had been gone for years at that point yet nobody was emulating his style in the mainstream

as soon as a boogie blew up that became the staple sound in NY as nikkas came out in droves doing the same shyt, when you hear gwuapo and tjay you dont think speaker knockerz or dej loaf, you think a boogie and thats just a fact

A lot of people give Speaker Knockerz give credit bro, Roddy Rich and Lil Tecca have said SK influenced their music. Boogie has influenced some NY cats, but that’s where it stops. His music is really good though, I give him that though. Them Nav/Lil Skies nikkas are SK sons fam.

The problem is NY'ers want credit for shyt they originate, as they should.

But once it's time for them to acknowledge the styles that they themselves emulate from other regions they go "bu bu but we made it better!!" Instead of giving credit where credit is due.
