How is temperatures rising a rip off of one love when they were talking about Killa, something they were going through? Big misconception there, shyt wasnt no rip off.

And I agree with dude who said Pee had more quotables, every goddamn line he spit on infamous is memorable & a quotable. Theres a reason hes the most sampled rapper in history. Having said that, Illmatic is the second best album of alltime:manny:

nas was talking to his (real) friends in prison too and killa was a fugitive at the time. The way temperature rising was construct was the same as one love only difference it was not introduced as a letter. And it was the same stories, about how the streets was without such and sush, how they were keeping it down for them during their absence and sending them money to maintain. To me, temperature's rising is clearly inspired by one love.

And don't even start with the quotables and samples, illmatic got sampled and quote more than any record I know

One was a general letter to dudes in prison and the other was about a specific dude who happened to be Havs brother who was on the run. Similar yes but a rip off no way, this shyt happened to them so they wrote a song about it, they werent inspired by one love, they were inspired by the incident breh.

And I dont need to start with nothing cuz it begins and ends with Pee being the most sampled rapper ever, thats fact breh. Thats why he was jumpin on so many tracks at the time, everybody wanted him on they shyt.

Again, having said all that, Nas is top 3 and Illmatic is the second G.A.O.A.T

Whatever thats a general statement. But to say Mobb went into the studio with One Love on mind and made temps rising is reaching. Something happened in their lives and they wrote a song about it.

And if you're sayin Illmatic is better cuz the Mobb were inspired by it, then thats a faulty argument cuz the final result has infamous as a better album regardless:manny:

I actually would take The Infamous to that desert island. But I have a black heart. Illmatic is the more sound choice. I'm through being sound.
