Let me ask you this if Alabama leads Mizzou in the SEC championship the WHOLE game their up 24-20 with 2 minutes left in the game. Maty Mauk leads his team down the field and Mizzou scores a TD with about :03 left on the clock 27-24 Mizzou. Squib kick by Mizzou game over. Does Alabama STILL deserve to go to the Playoff?
After all they controlled the game for 58 minutes that's gotta count for something right.

FSU should be #1 in the polls and that's all that needs to be said.
When every team is playing a different schedules you have to take in other factors
SOS, dominance and how impressive you've been
People are just on the fact that FSU won last year and they have the same QB
But, this is not he same team as last year that was just overwhelming opponents and the QB is not good this year
FSU has not been better than Oregon and bama this year
And FSU would not be undefeated playing bama and Oregon schedules while bama and Oregon would be dominating in the ACC
FSU has been fortunate to not have played a team that can score this year
You're exactly right on both points this year's FSU is not the same and Jameis is not playing as well BUT they have the exact same record as this time last year 12-0.

Who has Bama played that would beat FSU? Give FSU Bama and Oregon's SAME EXACT SCHEDULE and i'd be the house they'd be undefeated or have one loss at the WORST.

The hypothetical game doesn't work. It's not as if FSU's defense didn't have much to do with us NOT scoring; this whole season they've clamped down in crunch time in the second half. That's a credit to them. They've always had to face, I believe, 7 teams this year who had a bye week before facing them. Give 7 of the 13 teams you face an EXTRA week to prepare, and you're going to struggle. Don't care WHO you are. When it's all said and done, they've went undefeated while NOBODY else have. They deserve to be #1.

Jeff Long praise of TCU was laughable last night. He got on Baylor for the performance against Tech, but just two weeks ago TCU had that same performance against Kansas. But they seem to think TCU is playing so much better than baylor and O State. Mind Blowing
