:camby: Congratulations, the SEC are basically european basketball players...everybody keeps picking them but the majority of them flame out.

Im talking actual legitimate NFL players...starters and stars...:umad:Peyton, Lacy, Green and Peterson i'll give you and even then Peterson, Lacy and Green are hit and miss. How those SEC players working for the Jets, Bills, Bengals, Bears, Raiders, etc :mjlol:

Give me good teams...Patriots, Packers, Cowboys, Broncos, Colts, 49ers, Steelers, Eagles, Seahawks...you see a lot more Miami, FSU, USC, Virginia Tech, Texas, Ohio State than LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, etc

Rodgers (Pac 12), Luck (Pac 12), Brady (Big Ten), Brees (Big Ten), Dez (Big 12), Demarco Murray (Big 12), Lesean McCoy (Big East), Gronkowski (Pac 12), Calvin Johnson (ACC), Earl Thomas (Big 12), Richard Sherman (Pac 12), Marshawn Lynch (Pac 12), JJ Watt (Big Ten), Kuechly (ACC)

20 SEC players on the NFL top 100 list. list voted by the players themselves on who the top 100 players in the league are. SEC had the most representation.

so there you have it. even if you wanna limit it to the dominant players in the league, the SEC dominates.

Stopped reading. You didn't watch the game.

no I watched. I could say LSU was breaking in alot of young true freshman that game on both sides of the ball that are alot better today than they were that game. eventhough they lost a bunch of games in the SEC now. I could say they are a MUCH BETTER football team now and would wipe the floor with Wisconsin.

nikka I'mma FSU fan. I like Jameis. I like their squad. I personally think they should be #2 behind Alabama and think they can beat anyone in the country except Alabama.

also schools like FSU/Miami/Clemson are de facto SEC schools IMO. sure they are not in the SEC, but they still are southern schools that recruit from the same talent pool as the SEC schools and have the same geographic advantage.

the problem for FSU/Miami/Clemson is that not every school in their conference is in the deep south, so they don't have the benefit that almost every school in the SEC gets when it comes to recruiting.

like I said earlier. until black folks decide to move outta the south in large numbers and relocate to other parts of the country, the SEC (and schools in the south like FSU and Miami) will ALWAYS dominate.

So now you wanna put The U, FSU and Clemson in the SEC. SEC will not always dominate just look back in the early to mid 2000's you had Oklahoma, USC, Texas, OSU, Miami and FSU ruling SEC hit wave and now the media and voters are on they're dikk it's gonna take a few more Jameis like performances and the media and people in general will see that other teams are on that level.

Next thing you gonna say is FSU beat Auburn and not LSU or Alabama as an excuse.

no the SEC was still the best conference even back then. it just wasn't as overwhelmingly dominant as it is today. and when I said Miami, FSU, Clemson are de facto SEC schools, I meant that they have the same advantages that SEC schools have.

If you're a top prospect from Louisiana, chances are you'll go to LSU or stay pretty close to home (like Landon Collins going to Bama). My point is that the top high school talent in football reside in southern states. States like Florida, Louisiana, and Georgia with lots of black folks living there. As long as the black community resides in the south, teams in the south will dominate and have the advantage. and it just so happens the SEC has the most schools in the south.

pretty self-explanatory if you ask me.

I like players more than school loyalty. For example back in 2005, I was rooting for the Longhorns cause I lived Vince Young. I rooted for Auburn in 2011 cause of Cam. I like Bama this year cause they finally got a black QB in Blake Sims. Historically liked LSU cause their jerseys are dope and they have alot of great players.

only SEC team I can NEVER root for is Florida. I hate their guts. plus I can't stand the fact they've beaten us like 10 straight times.

Tennessee ain't been relevant in more than a decade. :laff:

top 5 recruiting class last year. top 5 recruiting class so far this year. sophomore josh dobbs looks like he'll be a great QB. half our team this year are true freshman and they've performaned admirably. Derek Barnett could be SEC defensive player of the year as a true freshman. http://www.rantsports.com/ncaa-foot...ng-about-tennessee-freshman-de-derek-barnett/

we're on the track back to becoming a dominant team in the SEC again.

i think most sec fans would prefer this. it would mean there's a good chance at an all-sec final. I can see Miss St. beating Oregon and Bama beating FSU.

i disagree about who would win and i doubt we'd get an all sec ship game, but if they set the games up like this, and they won, earning it, more power to them....

The hell does recruiting classes have to do with not being relevant in more than a decade?

And by the way, M*ch*gan been having top 5-10 classes since Hoke got there, you see what that has done for them.

Oh and: http://247sports.com/Season/2014-Football/CompositeTeamRankings they were number 7 last year.

They were only rated that high because they had 32 recruits in the class, which skews the numbers.

Funny thing is, the SEC has the least representation when it comes to affiliation within the voting committee. So according to yall people who have no affiliation with the SEC are conspiring to keep the SEC ranked high and have 2 teams in the playoffs.

Can someone tell me what Barry Alvarez (former Wisconsin coach and current AD), Tom Osborne (former Nebraska coach and AD), Dan Radakovich (Clemson AD), Pat Haden (USC AD), and Oliver Luck (WVU AD) have to gain by ranking the SEC too high? The only SEC affiliated person on the committee is Archie Manning and do you really think he has the most pull in the room?

:ohhh:
