Could be true. But FSU still hasn't lost a game, and that is the most relevant factor between the two teams. Plain and simple. Just because you play a perceived tougher schedule doesn't mean that a loss is negated over an undefeated team that has played good teams themselves.
Only a buckeye is too dumb to realize he's been baited into an argument with a hillbilly troll.

There's nothing perceived about it. Auburn schedule being more difficult is empirical

Undefeated should take precedence only if the competition is the same

It's why we had such a bad ship in game in 2012 because ND had no business playing in that game and they only got there because they were undefeated

And I ask you again, should Marshall be in the top 4?

Compare Marshall to the undefeated national champions with 25 straight wins, brehs

FSU SOS is 32nd

AU SOS is 1st

Who has FSU beaten?

We are not there yet, but if Miss state, AU, Oregon and TCU run the table

FSU will get left out of the playoff

3 one loss teams over FSU huh? Ain't nothing like stupid posting. Conference championship is considered a core factor, meaning Auburn would be out. Win your conference. Thanks

In what way would FSU have a better resume than those 4 other than winning the weakest conference of the power 5

  1. Principles. The committee will select the teams using a process that distinguishes among otherwise comparable teams by considering:
    • Conference championships won,
    • Strength of schedule,
    • Head-to-head competition,
    • Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory), and,
    • Other relevant factors such as key injuries that may have affected a team’s performance during the season or likely will affect its postseason performance
Losses:
FSU-0
Auburn-1
Oregon-1
TCU-1

Conference Champ?*

FSU-yes
Oregon-yes
TCU-yes
Auburn-no

Head to head: N/A

Strength of schedule to this point:

Auburn-1
Oregon-20
Florida State-39
TCU-46

Wins over current top 25
Florida State-3
Auburn-3
Oregon-2
TCU-2

Top 25 games remaining

Florida State-1 (Duke?)
Auburn-2 (Georgia?) (Alabama?)
Oregon-2 (Utah?) (Arizona State?)
TCU-1 (Kansas State)

In no category does an undefeated FSU rank behind 4 other schools unless you're trolling. Auburn and Alabama are out unless they win the SEC. Deal with it.

The bigger question who have Alabama beaten.

Their best win against a second tier big XII team.

Michigan State and Kansas State should leap over them if they win their games.
