No doubtThis shyt bout to be fukkery armageddon
this. They are going to reset the rankings every week so these rankings don't even fukking matter
Which is stupid. Why reset every week? The current week should be built upon the previous weeks.
Ohio State is so far down, winning out isn't guaranteed to get them in. And yes the SEC top heavy rankings will thin out a bit during head to head meetings, but you can clearly see a bias. Whether that bias is justified or not is another story but it's clearly there and could affect champs from other conferences.this.
brehs on here really and off these rankings. . .
as long as your team wins out, you straight.
well of course ohio state wont make it breh. . .lets stop playing gamesOhio State is so far down, winning out isn't guaranteed to get them in. Im not just saying tOSU,im talking a team with potentially 1 loss such as the Buckeyes,Spartans or even Nebraska. What if FSU lose? Notre Dame's only loss was to the defending champs. The Big 12 champs isn't guaranteed. So how can you sit there and say everything will take care of itself which such confidence?well of course ohio state wont make it breh. . .lets stop playing games
any team with 2+ losses have no chance of the playoffs, just a bowl game. . .
and even teams like marshall wont get to a playoff (if they win out) because they dont play anyone. . .literally noone
i dont see a bias. . .out of all the conference, the SEC has the most qualified teams while other conferences have one. . .maybe two. . .and eventually once our conference continues to cannabalize, then only one will persevere
i say everyone just man up, hope their respective team continues to win and let the best man win. . .
Nothing should build on anything. It resets because they look at your entire body of work, and don't punish people for when they lose. That whole "when you lose" shyt has always been stupid.
because there is still weeks left of football and every week another top team accumulates another loss. . .in the end everything will work itself outIm not just saying tOSU,im talking a team with potentially 1 loss such as the Buckeyes,Spartans or even Nebraska. I hope it does but that Ole Miss ranking is But like you said alot of ball still has to be played and it should make it easier to narrow down the most deserving teams.because there is still weeks left of football and every week another top team accumulates another loss. . .in the end everything will work itself out
thats just my opinion though. . .but at the same time i cant lie, i am only worried about alabama
forget everyone else
absolutely, where you were ranked the previous week should have no bearing on where you are ranked the following week. it should be a complete reevaluation of your resume relative to the rest of the nation rather than this archaic you lose you should drop a certain number of spots and so on.Nothing should build on anything. It resets because they look at your entire body of work, and don't punish people for when they lose. That whole "when you lose" shyt has always been stupid.
Everything should be built on what you've previously done in the season. The whole reset from week to week doesn't make sense to me. You can't look at it from week to week. Fla st can't be #2 then drop to 5 cause the closely win over a Louisville. That would t make sense.
If you have a system where you build on the previous weeks then let's say FSU played 2 good teams early in the year that put them at number 1, if you build from week to week then as long as they keep winning theoretically they shouldn't move from number one, even if a team behind them continues to win playing a much tougher schedule. If that second team plays a harder schedule and keeps winning then they should move up to number one even if FSU remains undefeated.
Basically each week they will look at your entire body of work. So just because you had the best resume 6 weeks in doesn't mean you should keep your slot if another team has a better resume after 7 weeks.
negro, if you lose early and drop 8 spots, then everyone else passes you up. But you still have time to win games nd come back up.
You lose at the end of the season, you're probably screwed.
It's just the nature of the beast
