TYRONE GA!
This would be fine if they took care of business within the SEC... but they didn't and it wasn't the "grind".. it was the fact that they lost to two terrible teams..
that's why I don't understand the non conference foe argument. you're not in because you lost to 2 trash conference teams this year.

What does who they scheduled matter when the games lost were in conference? Alabama didn’t get left out for scheduling Wisconsin, they won that game. They got left out for losing to two 6-6 in conference teams. How does scheduling a cupcake instead of Wisconsin make a difference?

Alabama's nonconference schedule, 4-0

Western Kentucky (Conference USA runner-up), 8-5
South Florida (AAC 6th/14), 6-6
Wisconsin (15th/18), 5-7
Mercer (FCS team)
And the only reason their SOS is high is due to the annual overrating of all SEC teams.

24-3 oklahoma if that game was close they might have gone in

as well doesn't help scheduling scrubs like western kentucky, south florida and the mercers every year

yup and they never play anyone so they beat up on low group of 5 teams and bottom barrel power 4 teams. It's why they have you thinking Kentucky and LSU are good teams.

Texas beat a weak michigan team but they were ranked 10, a 18th ranked at the oklahoma team who went 6-6 :mjlol: beat a 25th ranked vanderbilt team by 3 who ended the season 6-6

its only sec sec crying a bunch of 9-3 teams like alabama, ole piss, south carolina :mjlol:

you don't hear any crying from a 9-3 team like illinois
whose only losses were to 4th ranked Penn state, number 1 team in the nation Oregon and minnesota

or a 11-1 army team whose only loss was to notre dame team at yankee stadium

Teams might as well go back to scheduling cupcake non conference games at this point. Because if you win your conference title, or have a strong enough conference with one loss on your resume, it makes no sense to schedule challenging non conference opponents. The Mountain West champion will always have the advantage when it comes to qualifying. And some of these teams that got in had easy schedules.

This is why the SEC and big 10 are lobbying to have 4 teams from each conference get automatic bids :mjlol:

And at some point, Notre Dame is going to have to join a conference. They have the luxury of playing one less game than conference champions every year.

isn't that what alabama did? - Western Kentucky, South Florida, Mercer, Weak ass Wisconsin team

It doesn't work like that,, lol at you crying because ONE non power 4 team made the playoff. ITS NOT FAIR that the sec gets 3 teams and the Big ten gets 4 teams and the acc gets 3 teams (i consider notre dame basically acc). Lol at advantage in terms of qualifying, Boise state went into Oregon and lost by 3 points and then didn't lose again for the rest of the year with the best player in CFB.

and top MWC teams are going to the pac 12 anyways

I was right tho

:mjlol:

Alabama looked at a team like Boise St. get in, knowing they could beat them 9 out of 10 times if they played and they simply looked at how easy their schedule was. They look at a team like Indiana and how easy their schedule was.

At the end of the day, the SEC and Big 10 are constantly told their conference is the best by the media. And that same media kept them out over Boise St, Arizona St, Indiana and SMU. Those teams won their conference so they should be in it, but Alabama is having super conference remorse.

Which is why both the SEC and Big 10 are lobbying to have 4 automatic bids. each.

Thing is you want quality wins to matter but not horrible losses.

Beat Oklahoma and this isn’t an issue.
Also gotta add that SMU had a stronger SOS for OOC games than Bama.

SMU also had Vandy scheduled but Vandy backed out to play, I think Georgia State.

You cannot control the strength of your conference or the conference schedule...but YOU CAN control the OOC games. Bama lost 3x and had a cupcake OOC.....no room to talk shyt on this one.

Why are you hating on a non power 4 school?

ONE non power 4 team is guaranteed ONE SPOT out of 12.

64 schools in 5 conferences are fighting for one spot.

it doesn't matter if 3 non power 4 teams are 12-0 only one will get in yet they don't whine.

I don't even get what you're saying you said At the end of the day, the SEC and Big 10 are constantly told their conference is the best by the media. And that same media kept them out over Boise St, Arizona St, Indiana and SMU.

Indiana is in the big ten breh, Arizona won the big 12, SMU is in a power 4 conference and went 11-2 a,nd only lost to a 11-2 byu team by 3 and 3 points to a clemson team
