I agree. In fact Crawford could have a long and luxurious career overwhelming opponents with his goods vs their goods. However, ignoring a fighter's obvious flaw leads to those nights where Wink Wright completely dismantles a killer like Tito with just a jab. Or a night where a Jeff Lacy and his over confidence in his one power punch get schooled by a Calzaghe. Hell, it was ultimately Manny's flaw too. Not dedicating enough of your craft to the defensive side of the game eventually leads to crash landings at some point in your career.

Crawford not ready :yeshrug:. I've seen this movie before. The HBO talking heads lamenting about offense and attitude, as if that's the reason for Crawford getting hit so much by a tomato can. The same with GGG. The "he knew he could knock him out early so he let him hit him for the fans to get some excitement" narrative. Being a "mean guy" or "old school" doesn't mean you disregard defense. This guy was slow and loading up on one shot....and it kept getting home. TC would get buzz sawed by even a declined Manny. He's too straight up and down, no special effects. Doesn't move his head at all.
I don't know.

I think maybe Crawford is ready.
Styles make fights and Crawford is a bigger guy...good power...does a great job of controlling distance.

I think he COULD beat Pacquiao.
I'm not taking anything away from Pacquiao because he lost to Floyd. There's no shame in that. Floyd's a great fighter.

But we gotta remember that Pacquiao will turn 37 years old in December. And he hasn't looked invincible since the Cotto or Clottey fight in 2009/2010.
And he's got the injury.
It doesn't seem like he's hungry anymore.

It could be a competitive fight.

:dahell:?

Dierry Jean only hit him 51 times in the fight breh:dwillhuh:

Crawford DOES have defense by the way, good defense like that, and even when he's getting hit...it's because he's throwing. That's typically what happens when you're letting your hands go, you get hit sometimes in the process.:manny:

As far as your last sentence, are you sure you've been watching Terence Crawford? I've never heard that, or seen that with my own 2 eyes to say that about Crawford:what:

Dierry was just trying to land the right hand and hopefully hurt crawford bad so he awaited for the counters, those right hands he landed on crawford were big punches, he knew he had no other chance to win the fight
his face was swollen up and his upper lip was busted

crawford gave the guy a beating, he did what he was suppose to do,

I think crawford is good matchup for manny, he don't want any problems with the top dogs at 147, so I think they want a good fight for him to go out on a win on

when crawford loses it won't damage his career because it's to manny, the fight will more than likely be at a catchweight etc
