Half way through episode 2 and so far…it’s so bad it’s good.

The Izzak guy would’ve been far better at playing the Weeknd’s character. He has that natural alternative negro demeanour that these white chicks find alluring.

But back the weak end’s acting… he’s just not convincing. He’s trying too hard, which sounds crazy because he should be right in his element: PAWGs and cocaine.

But I can’t stop watching. It’s like a train wreck, you just want to know how much worse it can get. The sex scene felt so forced. How can the dialogue from BLACKED sound more convincing? And those porn hoes can’t act for shyt.

And Lily Rose Depp has been severely underwhelming. Take away her last name and she wouldn’t have been casted.

Ep3 already has me dying. He’s truly living a PAWGer’s dream. Eating out a a coked out white whore whilst her friend drives the whip. He should’ve asked the friend if she wanted to join in.

Playing Hot Chocolate already puts this episode up there.

I’m sorry but The Weeknd is just not convincing at all. His character had so much potential but he’s just so bad. It’s not hating, I’m just being honest. I get this show is his baby but his acting chops leaves a lot to be desired.

This just feels like a poor imitation of Red Shoes Diaries. I take it this show is “inspired” by Britney’s recent breakdown? Getting married to that weirdo and her dad no longer being her conservator?

The sex scenes are just getting repetitive. A lot like cake; it’s great to have in doses after meals, but constantly devouring it makes it less palatable.

There hasn’t been a single original idea so far. If you’re not going to try and reinvent the wheel then at least put some rims on that bytch.

The concept itself would’ve been good if it weren’t over-the-top debauchery that we know now The Weeknd personally had a hand-in.

Finished ep 4... this show actually had some interesting themes to explore but it all ends up being shallow, repetitive, and stagnant with no clear end goal. The assistant been doin the same act for 3 eps now. His cultists been bumming around the house for 2 eps, singing but never recording... how is he not tryna put them on tracks or influence Jocelyn to get them exposure?

He said an ep or two ago everything should go through him as the asian girl's manager, yet he wasn't even in that meeting when all those big wig execs offered her a deal? For a supposedly dangerous ex-convict, pimp, cultists, master manipulator, etc etc... he's pretty sloppy as a villain and so is the plot.

I agree Tedros has no real motivation or goal which is what’s holding the show back. They spend so much time on gratuitous sex scenes when they could be showing him really digging his claws in her career so he can make himself a major industry player (which I assume is what he wants).

Show him getting control of her finances, him running a sweatshop atmosphere for creatives and putting fear in all those freaks he has control of.

I feel it had a lot of potential but the directing and egos killed it.

Episode 3 ended a lot stronger. The dinner scene was intense. See? You make tension filled scenes without nudity and gratuitous sex. If they focused more on the psychological aspect than that, this show wouldn’t have been clowned as much as it was.

I get it, you’ve got to get the people hooked by using the easy route… but Damn, this show had so much potential.

I really enjoyed the 3rd episode. Watching the 4th now.

I can’t determine whether I’m attracted to Lily Rose or not. She’s like ugly and sexy at the same time.

Ok, the 4th episode just left me confused. As someone said, you can tell episode 4 was meant to be two episodes but they they crammed it all into one. It just became convoluted.

Too much was going on at once. Xander switching allegiance, Tedros becoming a cuck, Jocelyn becoming the bad guy… like wtf??? Yeah, it somehow keeps on managing to jump the shark. The ex boyfriend who was never alluded to until now just comes out of the blue? Huh????

Let’s be real. It’s not that bad but the real reason for the backlash is that a black man is smutting out a good looking white girl. That’s what it comes down to.

Yes, it’s really unfocused, the character development is shoddy and the direction is poor but it is enjoyable. Despite all its faults, episode 4 was a wild ride.

I look forward to the season finale.

Ehh, Jocelyn’s comeback is straight zzzzzz’s for me. If it weren’t for the Shadiness of Teedros and his crew, I would’ve been tapped out. So I def don’t think this crew could pull off other comeback stories.

I agree, I thought he’s been a lot better in last 2 episodes but I think this particular role was probably a lil too much for him not being an experienced actor. He would have been better served doing some smaller roles before jumping into this one.
