I'll say it. Abel is a brilliant artist, imo.

Acting is not really a strength of his. He doesn't have the chops to go all the way with a character like that.

Also Hank Azaria is underrated as an actor.

I feel like seasoned voice actors always kill it in live action because of the extra juice you need to convey emotions with just your voice.

I thought the pilot was fine. There is an incident that happens off camera that they argue about for half the episode, 15 minutes too long in my eyes. It has nothing to do with The Weeknd but they filmed at his house. Acting pretty good, decent about of nudity. Weekend does show up until halfway third way through. The lead actors have pretty decent chemistry considering California's laid back lifestyle. As far as stanning characters, I need to see more.

The showrunner throws personal jabs at the movie industry and magazines with who he casts as an InterViewer and intimacy coordinator. I don't agree with everything he does but it's interesting to see.

so Jocelyn's house in this show is The Weeknd's house? shyt looks dope!

Decent cast with Dan Levy, the Bodies Bodies Bodies girl, sleazy ass Eli Roth, but the Euphoria magic ain't quite there just yet. Hopefully picks up in the next few eps. Cinematography gorgeous as usual tho.

I like the background music too, Mike Dean doing his thing.

Finally got around to watching this after all the hype and controversy.

It's not good, but it's not as bad as people on the internet are trying to make it so far. Typical Sam Levinson project. Highly stylized, cool cinematography, mediocre writing, sleazy, and all that, (The Weeknd's acting is ass tho) but still mildly entertaining. It's like Entourage mixed with the intros to Blacked.com scenes
