The Mockingjay part 2 was pretty good for a chick flick. Wished we could've seen more deaths by the pods and the Mutts was just added scary flim flam...

Yo this is excellent! It’s even better than two of the first trilogy movies. I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s also eerie how well it symbolizes the Israeli-Hamas war. If you didn’t know when it was made you’d think it was an intentional allegory. 9/10 for me.

On another note, it’s so weird to hear this mocked as a chick flick when there was so much death. This movie is 20% romance, 50% war and death, 30% drama and politics.

This thing is so away from a chick flick I’m actually really curious to see how women will react to the sharp turn it takes. If they went in expecting a love story they are going to be super disappointed. It’s actually kinda hardcore where they take the plot. I think they had to do that to show how Snow becomes a villain. But it is heartbreaking because they hint at what he could have been.
That's what I'm wondering. The origin story for a meh antagonist.Y'all really hyped for this???

This was dope. Not a fan of the original movies but had time to watch this and didnt even know it was a villain origin story but it was a great psychological story about wars and propaganda. False hope and how that type of society will always breed monsters. I wouldnt mind another one after this to see more of young snow’s rise
