The House Party remake trailer just dropped

Movie is everything that is wrong with modern Hollywood movies and especially remakes. Instead of sticking to the basics and using the blueprint from the OG to make something for the new generation similar to what Soderberg did with the Ocean's 11 remake [the first one... hated the sequels..]. we get an over budgeted movie with 2 unlikeable idiots, set in a big mansion with a bunch of big name athletes, celebs and social media "influencers" with a bunch of predictable "comedic" scenarios....

The Mario Van Peebles movie "We The Party" is way better than this bullsh-t.

This is basically the movie in a nutshell. Story was weak, jokes were nonexistent, and it was throwing anything at the wall hoping it sticks. A koala bear high on weed fighting people, an Illuminati dinner party with Mandingo fighting, DC Youngfly getting high and being stuck in a time warp schtick. Just awful.

The acting was decent by everyone except Lebron I guess. The Full Force call back characters were corny but not for their lack of effort. The director and the writers sucked.

The Illuminati scene had me rolling when Kudi turned on them and then they had to get out of a situation on the fly.
