One thing about House Party with Kid n Play is that it was clean. Damn near ever word was a cuss word in the trailer.

And what’s up with trailers giving away the whole movie?

Showed who’s house is was, every celebrity guest, and the kid n play cameo. Feels like I already watched the movie
I smell p*ssy

Calling Kid a fakkit

Big man fukking the shyt out his girl

House Party was a bonafide rated R

If I do go see it, I don't think I be thinking about a "House Party" remake. And I'll probably see it on a Tuesday night at AMC, hoping I don't get another big weirdo sitting next to me, wearing cologne that smells like bubble bath, and getting mad at how I eat my popcorn.
Update: I was at the movies last night, and I was able to eat my popcorn and drink my soda in peace, even though I had a dude still sitting beside me on the right. He had two of his girlfriend on his right. They were all Hispanic (not really sure, but definitely not White). They were so well behaved, it almost took me back in time. After what I experienced the last time I wounded up sitting next to somebody, it almost turned into a fight with that big weird knuckle-head I mentioned above, because I was munching on my popcorn up little bit during the movie. I don't know if he complained or what, because the next time I went to the movies, that lady they show after the end of the last trailer said her usual, "Please no talking, or texting during the movie" etc... But this time she said to remember to finish your candy before the movie. I never heard that one before. I didn't know if that included popcorn too or what, but it sounded ridicules.

So last night, I wasn't sure if one of the new rules was to finish my popcorn before the movie or not. But after what happened the last time I had somebody sitting next to me, I went ahead and did. But guess what, the Hispanic dude and those two girls beside him were basically having a party next to me. They got down with a bunch of candy and popcorn, and didn't finish until well into the movie, munching and all. It didn't bother me, because that was normal at the movies. The only thing that bothered me was the fact I tried to finish my popcorn before the movie, when I didn't really have to. When I think about it, that lady they show at the end of the trailers didn't foolishly mention anything about finishing our candy before the movie started this time. They must have caught complaints behind that. But like I said, the group beside me was cool, so cool that when the dude left out momentarily, he ducked when he walked by me, so he wouldn't block my view. He did the same when he came back. He really didn't need to do that, but I appreciated it. It was like night and day compare to that big weird dude, who was a brother, and that's sad. I sure missed the days when everybody kinda acted like the group beside me. I'm not saying it's going to be that cool when any other Hispanic(s) sit beside me at the movies, but it seems like every time I have a White person sitting next to me at the movie, or even a Black person, they always seem to do something f*** up.

Btw, the movie was "Smile", and it was pretty good. I didn't want to see "Till", although it had higher ratings. Anyway, I guess I still plan to see the House Party remake.

Preview looks corny...not supporting. :camby:

Like folks said...we're not supporting some shyt, just because it was black-made. If it's garbo, it's garbo, AND IF ANYTHING, it's insulting to the original. They keep putting these young cornball nkkas, in these roles. "Nkkas" could smell these "contrived nkkas", from a mile away. :mjpls:

How long, til I turn on an interview, and see one of these nkkas, speaking in a British accent? Where are the organic, young black actors, from black areas, who ACTUALLY broke thru? That brings realness, and believability, to some of these roles. They keep giving these leads to nkkas from Beverly Hills, or London, somewhere. Just shoot the movie, in a black area, a regular house, and sprinkle in some current cultural references. Maybe even some, young artists.

Drop a fukkin Kodak in the movie, for a cameo/role or a SZA, or some shyt. A current (relevant) comedian. DC or some shyt. That type of shyt leads to some shyt, becoming memorable, catchin you off guard...possibly iconic. But again...black cinema is in the trash, because some cac, IS REALLY behind the curtain, callin the shots. :manny:
