The funny thing is, I watched 3 years worth of unconventional offense that consisted of mid-range jumpers being the focal point. Their margin for error was slim playing that way.

So with that in mind, I didn't give a fukk how many 3s the Bulls take

:manny:

Their style of play matches their personnel better now. If they were competent on defense they would be a top team in the conference.

Charlotte is missing their best player so it is what it is.

But did you see Lonzo out there looking like vintage Lonzo?

:blessed:

Facts…Demar leading the offense with his midrange shot selection made us at best an average team with an archaic offense. We’ve modernize that side of the ball…it’s the defense that has a ways to go

BULLS WON 46 GAMES
WHEN DEMAR GOT HERE.

HOW MANY WILL
THEY WIN THIS SEASON?

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
More than half of Brandon Miller's field goal attempts in college were 3 pointers. In only his second year he's averaging 11 out of 18 field goal attempts :snoop:

Steph Curry got away with taking attempting 10 + 3's a game because he shot better than 40% consistently. James Harden got away with it because he had 10 + free throw attempts per game.

It used to be the new generation would come in and school the older generation. They innovated shyt and evolved the style. It seems like now it's the opposite. This generation of player is trying to copy off the old generation. Mainly Steph Curry. Players are scared to drive to the hoop. They would rather shoot three pointers than have to shoot free throws.

This is where, I think a team that focused on getting to the rim would thrive against these shytty teams that just jack up 3s
That's not how things work.

Boston will take as many 3s as they want and lock down on the defensive end. There needs to be balance, but 3 points > 2 points so if you're game plan is to just take 2s because the other team is launching 3s you are going to lose unless you have a generational enforcing big (like Shaq) to make it worth it.

Over the course of a game the math problem is going to catch up to the teams that don't make enough 3s vs a team that does

The Bulls were 27-13 that season before Lonzo got injured. They finished the season 19-23 basically limping into the Playoffs and got a gentlemen's sweep in the 1st Round.

:unimpressed:

They finished with 40 wins the year after and 39 last season with the entire offense built around DeRozan's strengths. They'll win less games this year as they should due to the pick they owe the Spurs when they traded for him

I'd argue that had they kept Caruso this season they'd probably win the same number of games tho. They miss his defensive presence and communication than DeMar's offense... OBVIOUSLY
