Rex may just be a defensive coordinator , he doesnt get that ground and pound isn't the way it's a qb driven league you need weapons and to exploit the rules protecting qbs.

They're too damn stubborn. I have no problem with them trying to emphasize the run. I'm a big believer in running the ball. But at the same time, you need to have a passing attack in today's NFL. You need to stretch the field in order to keep teams from stacking 8 in the box against you. And the guy who's supposed to be our most explosive player caught 49 passes in his college career. Moving the chains is great, but what's wrong with throwing a 60 yard TD or breaking a 40-50 yard run every now and again?

To be fair the Ravens and Niners are that type of team and easily could have met in the super bowl last year but i get your point with the rules the way they are more teams nowadays do well that have a great passing attacks even if there last in running and defense
