I was wondering the same. I read the book back in the day and I thought its focus was the dragon. Maybe I'm mistaken but that what it seemed like. They're not even hyping up the dragon which could be a mistake.

@double0 They do both. Obviously still gotta handle that dragon business then a pretty sick war pops off. Gonna be the best in tje trilogy but inthought the last ine nailed it too.

Yes, the Dragon gets offed very quickly in the book. The last like 70 pages or so focus on the battle.

I'm a huge stan of LOTR and the hobbit books

but i just don't love these movies

i'm still mad they got greedy and turned a 300 page book into a 9 hour trilogy

it's indefensible

i have the first 2 hobbits on blu just for collection reasons but i have not re-watched either one.

I'll peep this just to finish the story but they aren't holding a candle to the LOTR trilogy which is gawd level to me. goat
