Actually the characters with seemingly "magical" powers are Istari and Maia...angelic beings sent to protect this fictional universe by their creator, kinda like Jesus.

No real sorcery or divination like in the Harry Potter universe.

Im skeptic about this. I was also someone who looked at LOTR with the face until i actually saw it and the rest of the trilogy and it left me



But i mean that was back in 2004/2005. Had they release The Hobbit a couple years later i would of been hyped as fukk for this but waiting damn near a decade to release it has me kind of iffy about watching it. ill probably wait for a clear copy to leak

its getting mediocre reviews so far..well its at 75% now but was as low as 71 on rotten tomatoes..

fukk peter jackson and new line for the ultimate cash grab of turning a short ass book into 3 movies... its the greediest thing i ever heard of..it could have been the ultimate GOAT fantasy movie if it was one like it should be.

He's probably one of the most overrated directors ever.

Fellowship is the only "Great" film he's made.

He wasn't even originally supposed to direct The Hobbit...it was supposed to go to Guillermo del Toro, but for some reason it ended up falling through and Jackson decided to take it again. That right there was already a warning...I don't think his heart was ever truly in this as much as it was for LOTR. He sort of only did this because he had to.

the ending of ROTK wasn't great but it was a damn good movie, modern day classic. there was not a single wack moment in any of the films, what the hell is going on in this thread
