It went really well in my opinion. I thought this summer was better than last summer. Since May alot of great projects dropped

Off the top of my head Lupe, Westside Boogie, Black Thought and Kendrick all dropped AOTY contenders in the timeframe. IDKs album was very slept on too. And I still haven't even listened to everything on my radar that dropped

Edit: JIDs album is one of the best so far this year too

I’m a big fan of Nas and Boldy James so I prefer last summer. But if someone prefers summer 22 I can’t knock it, especially after these last two weeks.

And I agree about the JID album. It goes crazy. I really think this will push him to a higher tier of artists, and expect him to start getting tons of features off the strength.
