This was one of the best songs that came out last year

RIP Nipsey

His feature was perfect and it set the stage for one of the best verses of Sean's career

Energy crazy, I realized that it's a two-way street
What's comin' is goin', if it don't give you more, it drains you

Should be a billionaire based on the time off I'm not takin'
Probably why the shyt with me get crazy and we lost a baby
:mjcry:
And everybody around me think I'm the one
But we all just one of ones
:wow:
and I'm walkin' out the crib
They ask me where I'm goin', I told them, "I'm going on another ten-year run"
:birdman:
nikkas is bangin' over blocks that they don't own, thinkin' that's home
:why:
Boy, you think that's where you from?
:stopitslime:
You don't really know where you from
:wow:
You don't how deep your roots is or what your ancestors had done
:blessed:

Sean really did Nip justice with this verse

Then the ending skit with Nipsey talking about wanting to tap in with Sean and other Detroit artists, tying the song together
:mjcry:

"fukk rap I'm a street legend/ block love me with a deep reverence"

This track should've gotten way more attention

It's a lot of Hip Hop taking place outside of the music in general...conflating the rap game with "Hip Hop" seems like a semantical argument but here we are, looking for "Hip Hop's" pulse.

Alot of the rappers who use autotune these days can get very redundant and hard to listen to

But Lil Baby is one of the rappers who use autotune while still being talented as an MC

Listen to his punchlines and the way he's flowing. Then you'll see why he's one of the young guys that's pushing Hip Hop forward

He has personality and relatability for alot of brothers who grew up in the projects. People who got it out the mud. His subject matter might not be for everyone and the autotune might throw some of yall off but he's an MC who's skilled. Something that alot of listeners think rappers lack nowadays

You know
Most of the songs posted in the op was some mediocre, lazy rapping . Ironic that the best song Op posted featured Nas.
