Eh, I mean there's a difference between encouraging people and just talking down to them.

There are problematic subsections of any group of people, but as a young black guy I get tired of the constant rhetoric accusing me (or people like me) of being a thug/deadbeat dad/lazy/moocher/etc. For the most part it's just preaching to the choir anyway and I kind of doubt many people are going to change their lifestyle because Bill Cosby or whoever said so. Addressing problems in the black community and suggesting ways to fix them is fine (and I'd encourage it) but there's a certain point where it starts to come off disdainful.

I showed you that example to show you that a similar situation could happen with two people of the same race as your happens so you know that salary discrepancy goes on all the time. You were the one who said this was technically an argument and when technically people are arguing it usually involves people being angry.
