The person that's taking over I think is the guy who phased out boxing on HBO after 45 years.
Boxing was losing too much money when it wasn't a Mayweather fight. If the new guy is more about financial success than ratings success then they should be ok, but AEW really needs live crowds again to be successful.

I hate when people ask these kinds of questions, because what did he really expect Cody to say.:mjlol:

What people aren't paying enough attention to is what the ratings could possibly look like when they get preempted. If the Saturday night episode pulls let's say a 1.4 then their might be serious talks of switching nights, because I think they're pretty much capped at 900k on Wednesday night. I like wrestling shows on Saturday nights anyway because it feels more special.

This uh...

shyt.:dwillhuh:

Look. The dead last thing American pro-wrestling needs right now is for Vince to be running the only viable shop in town. That would be dire for the industry. Here's hoping they got more people going to bat for them there. For everyone's sake - if the E goes back to being unopposed and Vince gets anymore creatively bankrupt, shyt could get even more ridiculous than it has been. Especially for the wrestlers, losing that bit of leverage.

2020's Goldberg-ass run seem's never-ending

I just hope new management doesn't do something stupid like move to Friday nights or

I was gonna say or try to go head to head with RAW but the 90’s mark in me would love that too much to call it stupid :blessed:

And I wonder why Bischoff would say that :jbhmm:

If Nitro was pulling 4.0 ratings and the company was managed in a competent fashion there is no way they would've pulled the plug.

Bischoff and his carny tales :comeon:

TNT is married to the demo with as much as they spent for NBA last go around. With a la carte coming for (and will probably kill off USA Network), TNT has their identity. Reily was axed over HBO max. The new guy went to HS with Dwayne Johnson and brought ballers to HBO. AEW is plenty safe until 2024
