I understand the anti-Melo shtick. He's not on LeBron's level, and he's not as versatile as prime Wade. The whole "superstar" tag is so subjective.
Carmelo Anthony is a wildly talent, very specific player. One that could definitely succeed and win a championship, but would need the perfect system/coach around him. He's not the kind of guy you can plug in on any roster, or swap in for any roster's best player and instantly make that team a contender.

While shooting 38% from the field. And I'm not exaggerating either. He took 30 shots to score those 31 points. Any other player would have gotten killed for that type of inefficiency. His team won games when he shot 5 for 27. What does that tell you? The Sixers were "good" that year because they played the best defense in a very bad Eastern Conference. I'm not saying AI was a bad player, but dudes love to overrate him and put him on the Kobe/Wade/McGrady level. Thing is, he actually was killed for that inefficiency. He still is til this day.
My problem is, when it comes to A.I. people really try to cyse his teammates like he aint run with shytty squads all his prime. You talking bout Kobe, Wade and T-mac...all 3 of those guys are in my top 5 favorite players, Wade no.1. But we really gone act like Kobe and Wade weren't surrounded with great talent and won as a result? Mac never been out the first round til he was warming the spurs bench. A.I. got to the finals with an underwhelming ass team. I acknowledged the defense in my post but you gotta put numbers on the board too.You gotta have a nikka that take shyt over. A.I. was that.
