Not gonna lie.. I don't even remeber who the RD for the west end dorm was because he was laid back. The RD at the spot on Howell Mill (the old hotel) next to the Kroger shopping complex was a cocksucker who tried to get me kicked out of school and I made him pay.
My dad was Reverend Davis with the big white beard. He was best friends with Reverend Rogers who was over Thurman. Mr. Woodbury (who was over the over the dorm right next to the Cafeteria, I can’t immediately remember the name but I think it’s mays hall ) would hit the rum and later when i went in 2004 I lived in white hall and the reverend over white hall was getting lit, we had to help walk him home a few times.

West End dorm was chill because there was only one RA, and my dad wasn’t on all of that micromanaging bs. The main focus was making sure people graduate.

His guilty pleasure was food. If he wasn’t cooking meals for students and family, he was at the Q (I think there was one in west end mall and when we wanted to ride, we would go down to greenbrier mall.

At the time he graduated, he was the one of, if not the oldest graduate of Morehouse at 54 in 94.

You lucky, Cobb county pd don’t play
We would hit places that had access to those old side streets like Old Alabama Rd and the small streets that let you cut across to different cities and neighborhoods real fast. But yeah we were tripping. The guy who I was with, his little brother needed up killing someone at a gas station and running over the body out there by Mableton a few years ago. shyt is crazy

Yea.. I remember Reverend Rogers obviously.. but Davis definitely rings a bell. Did he ever tell you about the Howell Mill/Phoenix Tower situation where they let too many incoming freshmen in so they had to shuttle them to campus? I loved living in the West End dorms.. even with the shytty internet (I tore Napster up though) and I was across the street from Wings N' Things. Heaven. :mjlol:

He left in 99 so I wasn’t familiar with that.

With other AU students also being in there?:dahell:
With a literal strip club at the front of the place on Northside? :dahell:
With girls going from class to dorm and walking to work from said dorm?:dahell:
They pretended that place had RULES? :damn::bryan:

Yep. nikka looked like Bubba Gump and had a vendetta against me because of shyt i did freshman year and they'd do room raids all the time. We also had hookers walking up and down the hallways. shyt was a real live dump. At the end of the semester. Me and my boys set off the fire alarm and covered the hallway in fire extinguisher and tossed out the tv's into the empty concrete pool.

Memories. :wow:

I wonder if that’s a tradition at every college. End of my freshman yr at SCSU they trashed the dorm too, and when the parents came to start picking us up to go home for the summer after finals I just remember one dudes mom shaking her head talking about “No, no, no! These are our future doctors and lawyers and look at what they’ve done!”
