What is a South Fulton county :skip:

If someone BLACK says South Fulton they talking about Cascade, Campbellton rd, Camp Creek. Could even be referring to East Point, College Park and Fairburn.
Are you serious....

There is no point is saying Fulton county, Alpharetta ain't in this. Before and after South Fulton became a city, south of Atlanta was always referred to as South Fulton. Yall just looking for shyt now, let it go, sorry you was sleep or in church, you missed out, it's settled.

ATL to MEM
When I first moved here, mid to late 90s it was the first time in my life I saw so many middle class black people doing well that wasn’t just in one tiny area. Like in Boston we had neighborhoods that were middle class black people but nothing like a whole town or city like here. That went from sugar to shyt quickly and I will always believe it was on purpose

Yeah it was on purpose.

Look for some reason folks like to pretend like black people are a monolith and everyone should be welcome.

Hell naw.

The neighborhoods can’t survive when you tear down the projects and move them folks all to the same areas. That fukked up the neighborhoods of black people who were actually trying to do something.

They would never eliminate all the trailer parks in the state and move them folks to Alpharetta or Roswell. Never!

Of course the ATL
Damn dude we grew up next to each other? We probably passed each other in the Publix or Wesley Chapel Kroger's LOL. I remember OG New Birth too.

Man I used to play baseball over there at Cathedral (it’s some town homes over there now) but if you’re on Flat shoals pkwy, and you’ve got House of Hope church on your right on the other side of Flat Shoals used to be baseball fields for the church formerly known as Cathedral. Used to go to Chapel Hill Elem & Middle too (went to Cedar Grove in 9th & 10th grade)

Yeah my brother has a friend that was adopted by a rich Black couple. This dumbass never finished college, got shot, and just ain't shyt. It's crazy.

Its a culture thing that swallows up black kids regardless of economic or ethnic background.

You had the refugees in Clarkston from all over africa and the middle east and bosnia and shyt forming gangs Like CKT.

My experience growing up in Atlanta was different; my dad was the residence director of the West End Apartments that Morehouse College had (they were torn down for the Ray Charles Center), and later he was over White and DuBois halls. I would live there for the summers, and no lie, Atlanta was like a heaven for a lil younging. I already loved trains so the MARTA amazed me. I got to see the torch as it passed by campus during the Olympics, and I could go days without interacting with racism (I was young so I didn’t have to worry about police or anything). It was different than Mobile.

But it was wild, my brother was the manager of a KFC/Taco Bell in the Cleveland Ave/Stewart Ave (I think it’s Metropolitan parkway now) area, and he used to talk about how he got caught up into using crack while working there and trading chicken for rocks.

Even though the projects were all around the AUC, I didn’t really have any interactions with them, it was easy to just walk Lee or Ashby.

I remember around 2004 the gas stations in Cobb County still would turn on pumps before you paid; being young and dumb, I think my and my homey ran off on gas at least 15-20 times. I think back and I really thank God I didn’t get caught up in that bull.

You escape a war zone to be on some dumb YN ish is stupid imo
It’s assimilation into American culture. I’m not saying it’s right but the same could be for some immigrants from Italy, Ireland, and Central America. Not to mention that one of the original reasons of clicks were to fight against racial attacks from the Klan, police, and other YCac crash test dummies. Again, I don’t condone it, but America loves and fosters the gansgter image

Not gonna lie.. I don't even remeber who the RD for the west end dorm was because he was laid back. The RD at the spot on Howell Mill (the old hotel) next to the Kroger shopping complex was a cocksucker who tried to get me kicked out of school and I made him pay.
