The people down here get mad when you criticize any of their eating places, even Sam's Club...lol. And when I say people, I don't mean the employees, I mean the people.

I use to mess with Waffle House down here because I would see mostly Black people working in them. But after awhile, they began to turn me off as well. First it was the employees...then it was the people they'd attract. I saw why all the people who came in, that looked like they had some class, would always carryout, if they came at all. Those employees are good at spotting out who ain't from here, even though it shouldn't make a difference at some point. That's why a lot of transplants don't go there anymore. These Waffle Houses usually keep attracting natives, or other Southerners.

I noticed alot of customer service reps down here like to play games on certain customers. And the people in the North like to nip games in the bud. I was the latter. That's why I stopped eating at Waffle House. I felt like I was gonna wound up making the news at some point.

PS. That sister wasn't lying about them spraying shyt in the air while you're still eating, however they usually do it when you're there alone, or when it's near closing. I remember this fat brother, who was a cook, working at a Waffle House in Jonesboro started spraying the grill from far away, while I was seated at the bar eating my food. And the grill was right across from me! I just got up, and said in a loud voice, "These people done lost their mind". Then I took my food, and sat at a table far away in a corner. Negro didn't know I had my 9mm on me. Lucky I already carried for 10 years as a special officer for the Federal Government, where we learned not to be provoked while armed.
My god. You sound ignorant as fukk.

This dude @Motife43 couldn't be found a month ago. You couldn't type in his name. Now he pops up and creates a braves thread after I do, I ask the mods to intervene and they ignore me. Another dude who should have been had me on ignore decided he was going to just start doing it right then. Somethings bigger going on....

As far as my original comment(explaining myself without a computer #64761), I've live in atl 25 years, i promise you they deserve that and more for what they've done to me, what they're continue to do to me.

I meant nothing by it; I was just curious. Comment was interesting though. One of the things I appreciated about growing up in Atlanta was going to all-black schools from K thru 12. Might've been a different day and time though.

Mayor dikkenss announced 4 new MARTA stations, including near Beltline

Atlanta Mayor Andre dikkens announced Monday the largest expansion to MARTA’s train network in decades with four new stations expected to join the public transit system, including one at a large development project along the Beltline.
One station will be at Murphy Crossing along the Beltline’s Westside Trail, meaning the popular mixed-use trail loop will soon be connected to heavy rail. The other three stations will be “in-fill” stations between existing stops, but the specific locations were not immediately available.

“Our current MARTA rail system is underutilized, in part, because we don’t have enough stations located where our residents need them most,” dikkens said during his annual State of the City address. “... A better, more accessible rail system is key to Atlanta’s future and I am committed to ensuring that Atlanta residents have access to the quality transportation they deserve.”

The last MARTA station to join the transit network were Sandy Springs and North Springs along the red line, which both opened in 2000.
Beltline officials and Invest Atlanta, the city’s economic development arm, finalized a development team last week for Murphy Crossing.

It’s a pivotal redevelopment effort that is poised to include 1,100 housing units and up to 180,000 square feet of commercial space, both with significant affordability components.

The mixed-use project on the former State Farmers Market property at 1050 Murphy Ave. SW ranks among the most consequential developments on land owned by the Beltline. It’s located about 0.8 miles between the West End and Oakland City MARTA stations.

“This new station will not only bring rail access to Murphy Crossing, it will for the very first time connect MARTA rail to the Beltline,” dikkens said. “Investments like Murphy Crossing and high-capacity transit on Campbellton Road will ensure that residents on the southside will have access to the best Atlanta has to offer.”

Sandy Springs and North Springs were the last new stations back in 2000. Just imagine what Atlanta could be if we had a good public transit system. I've always lived in the burbs of Atlanta from childhood to my various stints here as an adult, so having a car was always necessary. But when I moved to other cities and NEEDED public transportation it, it was convenient as hell. Particularly Seattle had bus, light rail and street cars that could get me throughout the city and to neighboring suburbs reliably
