I’m in Lindbergh.

What happened to this place? Homeless everywhere. Wet Willies is gone. Is T&G still open?

Gold Room looks like shyt. Now they’re trying to call it “Uptown Atlanta”. :mindblown:

T&G is still there but Lindbergh overall is ass now. Cheshire bridge is the land of sex shops and stepped on coke

Look up the number of cities w/ 3 major sports arenas all in one concentrated area… outside of Philly I can’t think of a single one….

NYC you got the football stadium in Jersey. Boston you got the football stadium in Foxborough…

Go to Chicago, you got the Bulls, Cubs and Bears, all playing at stadiums that are all 6-7 miles away from each other… And you’re talkin like Atlanta has the infrastructure to just have 3 stadiums all in a 2 mile radius…?

Go to Phoenix, you got the baseball and basketball stadium right next to each other, then you got the Cardinals playin way out past Glendale…. It just doesn’t happen bro.

To fit the stadium and the battery in Summerhill, they woulda had to get rid of neighborhoods there and displace people. Then we woulda heard the Braves are gentrifying downtown. It’s a no-win situation w/ people sometimes.

It all sounds easy until you realize we (at least those of us who live in Fulton County) would be footing the tax bill for all three of those stadiums…?

Personally I enjoy taking a 15 minute drive and enjoying all the battery amenities that I know Cobb County residents are paying for :yeshrug:
I honestly feel like it worked out best for everyone. Fulton Taxpayers didn’t catch the bill. Cobb did but :manny:

Team has spent the money to be competitive for a while.

Agreed. And nobody had to close their business or lose a house. I used to work in the office building across the street from it. That entire area where the stadium and battery is used to just be a big fukkin hill.

And now all those restaurants that weren’t seein anything (red lobster, Doc’s etc.) are makin bank off parking. At Turner Field it was just random lot owners.

Trap Museum was dope. Literally and figuratively.
It was cool to see Tip's grammy, and they actually set it up like a dope house.
They actually had the grandma in the front room and the dope on the kitchen counter :wow:
