Get the open table app and set an alert for Marcel. Once I did that I was getting alerts every day for this Friday and Saturday nights. I decided not to go there as my wife doesn’t like seafood and all their appetizers are seafood. I still want to try their beef Wellington though.

We gonna hit up Saints and Council instead. While not on the same level prestige wise, she will eat a bunch of things on the menu. We often find that to be the case, we like upper middle level restaurants like Southern Gentlemen more than spots like Aria because have more to choose from.

I made reservations for The Consulate the Friday before Valentine’s Day, has anyone been there before?
i heard good things. Its on my list to hit

Appreciate that! Saints and Council was ok, service was meh, food was good but we only had brunch

Aria was good, solid Italian luxury dining

We love Southern Gentleman, that and Optimist are two personal favorites of ours

Never been to Consulate, I know it’s in Midtown but last time I tried to go I had a hard time trying to find it

I went to Consulate at the end of 2021. Cool spot and the food was great.

It's located literally right next to Google in Midtown

Of course the ATL
Me and my girl just went to Mojave for brunch last week. I can c/s it.

Marcel is dope too, I haven't been anywhere new in a while. Too many spots built on aesthetic and not good food

Lotta great restaurants touching down, I stay on Eater Atlanta, Atlanta Magazine, The Atlantan, Atlanta Eats just to stay up on what’s new…we try to hit a new spot every month

The last 15-20 posts are what I envisioned the ATL Discord to be:mjcry:

But I’m glad I could put you on some new spots @AVXL

C&S has a location not too far from you. If y’all are going for seafood I highly recommend it. Prolly our favorite spot to eat and it’s always low key in there

Don’t sleep on Soigne Garden… fine hoes in that junt on the weekend. Get you a drink and a hookah and try to pull you some of the beautiful trash that the ATL has to offer. :noah:

I went there months ago and was sitting next to Ayisha Diaz fine ass.

I went there on Sunday with friends. Got there at 11pm and they were closing at midnight. I was surprised cuz Monday most people were off for MLK holiday

Southern Gentleman is amazing. There's a new spot called clutch in brookhaven. Best drinks I've ever had.

Reginae Carter and her man was eating inside while we were there

We like nice high end spots (Little Alley, Atlas, Chops, The Chastain, Capital Grille, Kevin Rathbun’s, Arnette’s Chop Shop), upper tier New American cuisine (Miller Union, Optimist), black owned (JamRock, Low Country Steak) & Asian (Thai) (Nan Thai, Chai Yo). Drinks need to be good and food needs to be excellent (my wife is the type where she’s looking at reviews and reading reviews, if it’s under 4.5 stars we gotta really think about it :mjlol:)

But we have fun trying new places and don’t mind spending a lil bread, just gotta be a good time

I’m ready to move out of ATL. What’s the best outer counties? That have a good amount of black folk?
I kinda remember you posting when you first moved, are you tryna move out of the metro area or just the city? All depends on your budget and what kind of lifestyle you want.

South Cobb County has a lot of black folks and it’s still close to the city.

You can go to the Southside (cc @staticshock @Rekkapryde)

Eastside is predominantly black but I grew up over there and aint goin back lol. But you have options fa sho
