ATLANTA — Nearly five months after announcing his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, Atlanta R&B radio legend Silas “SiMan Baby” Alexander lost his battle with the disease.
Alexander’s wife posted the news on his Facebook page early Wednesday.

“Si Man Baby” made his cancer diagnosis public while
celebrating his 58th birthday in September 2021. Alexander said then that he had been diagnosed three months before announcing it publicly. He shared the news alongside his cousin Gary Mitchell, known as Mix Master Mitch around the metro Atlanta area.
