City of Atlanta honors “The Real Deal” by unveiling statue of Evander Holyfield

ATLANTA — The city of Atlanta put up a statue to honor the boxing legacy of Evander Holyfield.

Legendary boxing announcer Jimmy Lennon started the unveiling ceremony Friday to thunderous applause.

“Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the one and only Evander “Real Deal’ Holyfield!”

The bronze statue stands 10 feet tall and weighs in at 1 ton and 232 pounds outside State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta.

According to the initial investigation, the four teens were selling bottled water on the exit ramp when two men pulled up in a white four-door sedan, each with guns, and opened fire on the group. The men then drove south on Old National Highway, Manning said.

The article says a car pulled up and started shooting. Probably retribution for some shyt but I don’t want to put that on the young brehs. You either get some who are real respectful or you get the ones that will cross the line and do some crazy shyt.
