Pho Laxang down the road has better papaya salad, but I agree on the pho and bun options.






There's a spot named Sabiang Thai midway between Stockbridge and McDonough that has duck pho.

There's Gumbeaux's out in Douglasville that does some decent Cajun(disclaimer: I'm in no way any kind of expert on this front).

Hae Woon Dae BBQ up the way from Buford Hwy Farmers' Mkt is open until 6AM.





There are all kinds of options at all points of the compass. It's a driving city.

I've passed Pho Laxang but never stopped in because it's a Thai place that does Pho.. sounded kinda backwards. Reviews on Yelp are good though so I'll hit it up at some point. Hae Woon Dae used to be my spot after hitting up shooters alley or roosters in that shopping center but the quality has gone down in the recent years. Duluth has the best Korean BBQ spot in the area imo. They got this spot, 9292, that uses charcoal instead of gas. Amazing.

I could go on about Buford highway spots for days too.

MB needs better leadership. They lost their accreditation almost 15 years ago and they’re still operating without it. Why give money to an institution that has lost its way? MB gotta figure out what they wanna do before they hope people will bail them out

The new president is trying to find a back door to getting accredited again. They applied through a committee that mainly gives religious schools accreditation.

They’ve gotten a lot of money from the community. They’re supported solely by ppl believing in them. But continually some ppl are taking advantage of the situation for their own benefit.

I think they should merge with Clark Atlanta personally .
