My wife loves Thai food so here's my top 3:

-Chai Yo (in Buckhead across the street from Shops at Buckhead, Peachtree Rd). Modern take on Thai food, the restaurant makes you feel like you're in Thailand. Not too expensive but not cheap either. Food is outstanding. Kinda ducked off so a little more private environment

-Tuk Tuk (in South Buckhead in the shopping plaza across the street from the Amtrak Station, Peachtree). Meals from Thailand you would find in the local markets there. Very good food and not too pricey. Kinda trendy spot wit an open floor plan

-Nan Thai Fine Dining (on the corner of Spring St/17th St, midtown). Very traditional, classic Thai food. Really really good but by far the most expensive. If you're trying to impress this is your spot
That's considered South Buckhead now?

Wow

Brehs when the last time y'all came through Bolton Rd, Marietta Blvd, Upper Westside area? This shyt is completely changing right now :whoo:

I slide on Marietta St from S Atlanta rd every now and then so I've seen some of this shyt but damn :damn:

I’ve lived on Marietta st for 2-3 years and even what I’ve seen added in this short time is crazy. Apartments comin up new 2 per block, Condos being built by the railroads, shyts crazy. Guy I work w/ graduated from Tech in like 08 and he can’t believe what Marietta st looks like now.

As you go further out towards bolton rd there’s a bunch of land beggin for houses to be built.

shyt’s in full gear. The lil shyt like buying my breakfast sammich @ urban grind and not octane feels like a lost cause at this point

EAV is cool...it's a gentrified part of ATL so it's ALOT of hippies, but it's got rising home values with a lot of older homes, a dope arts scene and it's generally a nice neighborhood. Would I live there? No, but if you're into the EAV/L5P (Little 5 Points) lifestyle, living next to Grant Park and only a few minutes from downtown it's not bad. One of my favorite hookah bars in ATL was/is in EAV so it's a good place to hang I just wouldn't personally want to live over there

Man...I had a BLAST yesterday at iLounge with shorty. shout out to @AVXL & @staticshock :salute:
Funny, ive lived here for 4 years and have never been in the iLounge. As i type this im sitting on the benches outside looking at it now. I go to Grand Central Station next to it and the Octopus bar often, tho. I stopped fukking with the Glenwood and Graveyard.

Personally, I'm more of a TENATL guy myself. TEN ATL Bar & Lounge (@tenatl) • Instagram photos and videos Especially since it's black owned. I know the owner (Joe). He a cool ass AA breh. I think he and my ex used to fukk (she's the one that introduced me to him) but they're just friends now. I'm really feeling that new little nigerian bartender they got over there. Place be popping Thursday through Monday nights. Check it out.

I live near the EAV myself. I'm between EAV and Gresham Park. I'm off Brannen. Bought my house cheap just when the prices were starting to jump. I paid in the 128K for a 4 bdr house. Now investors keep harassing me offering me 220 for it as is. Think i'm gonna keep it a while longer and cash in later. But what i'd really like to do is add to it.
