What's difference between the one being closed and Rice Street?

It’s an actual jail, used to be the main jail for the city but about 15 years ago the Atlanta Corrections Dept started to let Fulton County do more and more of that stuff. So now it’s just real low level stuff, riding dirty or a J loitering somewhere.The one being closed is Atlanta Pre Trial Detention, Rice St is the Fulton Co Jail. Pre Trial was just COA Atlanta anyway, even when it was being used more. Rice St is everybody in Fulton. You in there with cats from Roswell and College Park. But I’ve heard recently they send southside people to the East Point Annex or that Union City annex. That’s why COA letting Fulton do it, they got way more infrastructure for it
Ok. $30 million saved a year and not negatively impacting anyone . Damn. She can claim she saved the city $90 million in 3 years with next election
