Same with me, my first NL album was Life Or Death (funnily enough my favorite NL album to this day next to WW3) and when I started collecting all NL albums I was stunned how different P's westcoast stuff sounded compared to his output from 97 onMy guy was a Master P stan and he had both CDs...I haven't heard them in years though
It was funny being introduced to P as an artist from the South and then finding out a few years later how many albums he had as a West Coast artist![]()
Whatever, I'll always say that the BBTP sound/production was superior to the westcoast era with producers K-Lou, E-A-Ski, Al Eaton & co
