It is what it is. But he was perfect as Pete/Spidey. Nailed it.
Yup and Toby was awful at both

His own shenanigans got him booted. He might've possibly made the crossover but he was pissing off execs and missing publicity dates.
That was the plan once they had their mind set on the reboot. It's in those sony email leaks. He did it to himself. If they wanted him to be 15 years old, aint no damn way he would've been a part of that crossover. that man don't look close to 15 on any planet
On The CW maybeIf they wanted him to be 15 years old, aint no damn way he would've been a part of that crossover. that man don't look close to 15 on any planet
very good point. CW casting 35 year olds to play high school kids. Using makeup to hide the stubbleOn The CW maybe

Just to add onI just really think they rushed this whole thing. If they would've actually built up the characters and made separate movies then they could've had something but you right this still would've been trash. No way is Darkseid getting his ass kicked by those scrubs. He was handling 2 Kryptonians with both hands tied behind his back for breakfast literally.
Why is this overlooked when people continue to rally around Snyder’s wack-ass conceptualization for Justice League?
There are more than enough planetary-threat-level villains in the DCU to have avoided rolling out Darkseid too early, while still presenting a credible threat worthy of forming the Justice League. It could be argued DC actually has more of those types of villains than Marvel.
Meanwhile, the only reason fans accepted Steppenwolf as a credible threat was because of Darkseid (that doesn’t mean he isn’t credible, power-wise... it means who gives a fukk about Stepenwolf?).
Brainiac immediately springs to mind. Especially since MoS kick-started their attempt at a shared universe. But since you could argue that Braniac is AS big a threat as Darkseid, you could also argue for Black Adam (oh hey, I heard they casted some guy named The Rock to play that guy... no way he’s charismatic enough to hold it down as the main bad guy ), Vandal Savage, Amazo, the fukking Anti-Monitor (probably a Phase 3 villain), Prometheus, Rhas Al Ghul, Brother Eye + OMACs, Despero... Mongul!
But nope. We were gonna get an Act II Darkseid reveal. That makes sense.
i think they're referring to the prequel scene where Darkseid touches down on here to get the motherboxes (when WW was telling the members the story of steppenwolfe). It would have been a better intro into DC's overarching villain and adding more scenes in relation to Cyborg would have tied the story down by providing background on the motherboxes and how his new body is composed of it.So Darkseid was gonna get beat by some random Atlanteans and Amazons and wasted in one movie? shyt would've been worse than what we got
The one on Doom Patrol is much better
Dude has a personality
By now, there are nearly countless reports about the Justice League movie and what could have been. The film was a colossal disappointment at the box office, was panned by critics, and left fans underwhelmed. And still there is a contingent of people who remain dedicated to director Zack Snyder, who was replaced on the film by Joss Whedon. These people clamor for the #SnyderCut of the movie, which is unlikely to ever be released by Warner Bros. Pictures, but they continue to ask Snyder questions about his plans for the movie.
Now someone unearthed a new detail about one of the evil New Gods that was supposed to appear in the movie, with one of Darkseid's top aids in Desaad playing a role in Snyder's version
While Steppenwolf played a major role in the film, attempting to curry favor from his father Darkseid by retrieving all three Mother Boxes and remaking the Earth in the image of Apokolips, many of the aspects pertaining to the New Gods were downplayed in the film. So the prospect of Desaad showing up will likely get those Snyder Cut fans riled up.
Snyder himself had an epic plan in place for the Justice Leaguemovie and it's proposed sequel that was cancelled, though his plans seem more along the lines of the darker Injustice storyline, created by the video game designers of Mortal Kombat, rather than a traditional DC Comics storyline that many fans were expecting.
