Its true but only to certain blacks and usually those from hood environments ime.

it depends what they are getting together for, if its just more entertainment then its not gonna change much, to make real money black people have to move outside of entertainment, things like science and technology, building schools and universities and financial systems like banks and credit unions

in a lot of ways jay-z and diddy have misled people into thinking entertainment is the the only way to make money and misled people to thinking that is where the real money is

I disagree the people that were going to think this way were going to feel this way regardless usually cause of their environment. Hell most cats on here don't think that way and its mostly black so I don't know how you can say that unless your main environment is the hood where this thinking is more prevalent.

the point is (that IMO) we have reached the limit as far as sports and entertainment can take us as far as developing the hood, its time to move to different areas and different industries

How you typed it it wasn't 100% sure and didn't want to assume. I still don't agree cause in this day and age there are examples all over that you don't have to do those things to get $$$. Now if people from the hood think that's the only way which I see often from those that remain mainly in that environment I feel most of the blame goes on them. Can't keep giving cats passes they will never learn.

My point is simple forget what a few entertainment cats are doing if people can't see in 2013 that there are other ways to get big $$$ besides entertainment that's on them.
