Just abandoned moesha for The Game. I loved this show when it was on - well the OG cast before Derwin and Melanie left. And Jason Pitts is still one of my favorite characters from any show ever.

I remember the first 3 seasons being VERY good and me and my girl at the time was hype as shyt for it to come back to BET. But the BET seasons just didn't have that same energy the first 3 seasons had.

I'm pretty sure most of it was the change to make Tasha the main character but i didn't like that Jason/Kelly broke up either. I hated Brandy's character.

First 3 season were good and the show had potential but the rest went downhill very fast. And for dudes who were pro football players, the show felt cheap and needed a bigger budget to feel “convincing”.

I could’ve seen this show work on a different network with a much stronger cast. It’s weird to look at Pooch in his role and see how much of a fool this dude turned up to be as Darryl in Ray Donovan lol.

but I wonder was there a change in writing team for the Game at some point because the changes on this show felt very noticeable for sure.

I just got to season 3. This show had great writers on the first run. The breakdown of Derwin and Melanie’s relationship was handled really well. Jason is by far my favorite character.

The BET seasons were terrible. Season 3 ended with everyone’s character arcs more or less resolved. They had to regress everyone back to season 1 status. Seasons 5 and 6 sucked because Blu was completely unlikeable. You know shyt is garbage when they bring back the original cast for the final episode.

It was good when it was on Cw bk in tha day.. I started watching it again a few hrs ago and season 2 was funny as shyt.. I stopped watchin when it came bk

I really wasnt feeling the first part of season 1. I think it got way better during the 2nd half when they started focusing more on the guys.

I really love the balance of drama and comedy in season 2 and the slow build up of Jason and steroids

Was thinking about getting into this. My swears by the first 3 seasons. Just realized it's on Hulu.
