the thing that originally made street fighter cool was that it was a global fighting brand. To see them lean so hard into these white dudes is just a general let down. So many countries with dope and unique fighting styles and we basically MMA bro number 3

In 2021, with the internet and world networks, you have to go out of your way to create martial artist/fighter characters from the USA and make them damn near all Aryan's.
I'm pretty sure Capcom just doesn't fukk with black designs/people either for aesthetics or for other reason. Stop giving these folks a pass.

4. Harada has told Ono before that SFV needs more diverse characters, so Ono didn’t consider diversity until late in the game development.

5. Start up an African FGC scene, give them a reason to pay attention to black demographics. I put money on it SF6 will have a Caribbean character. It’s no surprise they pushed heavy into the UAE scene after Rashyt dropped.

6. Afro Brazilians aren’t black?
