I sometimes get the feeling that Vince, Kevin Dunn, and the rest of the production guys are too in love with the new technology at their disposal. They love that they can make everything look so clean and new, but they don't realize how that takes away from the show. Nothing feels real; the "world" doesn't feel lived in. It creates this disconnect between the audience and the performers. This is largely a problem the company has as a whole right now. The entire environment looks too pristine. It looks too bright and vivid. It doesn’t need to be late 90’s ECW levels of low budget and low audio/video quality, but it looks like an assembly line production void of any real soul. Simplicity is nice sometimes.
