What makes this different from "It was all just a dream" is that WE learned about Wells' backstory and powers. So even if the plot is reset, the episode still mattered.

By the way if they add a 2nd Reverse Flash to this series it might be the Police Chief that was just paralyzed. That's partly how the Hunter Zolomon story version of the Reverse Flash starts.

I'm still wondering what happens with Eddie though. Looking at the comic bios and maybe he becomes Barry's jealous twin brother Malcolm Thawne. Not sure how that would be received though.
