Rumor has it they might try to bring in into continuity.. maybe via time travel, altered/delayed time line theory ....
Had me briefly contemplating jumping back on Team Iris
He's fast, she's dead. See two very different heroes when The Flash returns with new episodes Tuesday at 8/7c, followed by the premiere of iZombie.
Generic promo:
Wally West or Bart Allen could speed into the CW series.
The Flash is may be poised to introduce other versions of the fastest man alive for season two.
In comic book lore, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is just one of a number of heroes who have tapped into the speed force, granting them superhuman speed. Executive producer Greg Berlanti said they hoped to bring in Wally West ( Kid Flash and ultimately the third Flash in the comics) or Bart Allen (the second Kid Flash) into the fold for season two.
"That's our hope. We've already been picked up for a second year. If we were going to do something like that, we'd do it next year," Berlanti said during a The Flash Paleyfest panel Saturday.

The panel opened with a sizzle reel teasing the upcoming lineup of villains, including Mark Hamill as The Trickster, psychic ape Gorilla Grodd, and Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) as the menacing Reverse-Flash.
But perhaps the biggest surprise came with footage of Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett) showing a potentially villainous side. Fans have noted similarities between his name and that of comic book bad guy Eobard Thawne (AKA Professor Zoom and Reverse-Flash). So far in the TV series, he's been largely a stereotypical perfect guy. In the new footage, he punches Barry out of jealousy, because Barry has expressed his feelings for Iris (Candice Patton) once again. He also fires a gun at two police officers, suggesting he's gone over the edge.
The show has plenty of other things on its plate, as it dives into time travel for the first time over the next two episodes, and if Barry succeeds in traveling back in time and saving his mother's life, team Flash might be altered or even cease to exist.

"There are concerns that if certain events change in the past, it will change who everyone is," said executive producer Andrew Kriesberg. "What's really interesting about that stuff to us is what's emotional about it."
Another series mystery that will be addressed soon is why Det. West's (Jessie L. Martin) wife and Iris' (Candice Patton) mother has yet to be seen. A future scene will allude to it, with The Flash delving more into the story next season.
Viewers concerned for the civil liberties of the metahumans being kept in STAR Labs' prison without due process can also breath easy.
"We see a scene of how they are tended to," said Kreisberg. Added Berlanti, "We deal with the implications of them being judge and jury by the end of the year."
