The Fix is a 7/10 album at best, and it's high time we acknowledge this

It his Face’s most commercial release, which is probably why it is perceived so highly. It got tracks for the street and the radio.

I really like the album, but understand why others don’t. It was the first album where Face was on some OG introspective shyt. You can see his maturity in this album.

went back to this album this morning for the first time in years...this album really is wildly overrated.

its still amazing how much they managed to ruin that Face and Nas song with that singing.
Mike Dean's piece sangin'

Preferred Untouchable, Diary, My Homies (Face's songs), Emeritus, MADE, LOADB to The Fix

A few highlights, lots of ok songs, but nowhere near Face's best

As for the whole "OutKast only got praise by East Coast heads after Aquemini" thing... don't you feel like ATLiens sounds more East Coastish?

Nah fam i disagree. Thats one of Faces best albums.

Ill agree its not his best as i think Diary and Untouchable is better.

But u spot on that psycho/dark face is the best scarface
def will take back what I said here^^^ LOL

since this post I have had tons of moments of going on a Face binge and yeah.

Fix is cool and i like it but its just not as good as some of the other albums. Now that I look back.

The album is pretty good with Face coming at you like a Vet of the rap game. But other than that not much else to put it top 3

album still cool but not much to pull you back to wanrt to listen to it. Besides some joints

He was the president of def jam...I doubt he was in the "space" as a rapper to even create that type of content...

Would the perception of the album change if scarface stans put that into perspective?

Or is it rightfully rated regardless?

It wasn’t his best work but a great and memorable one...The album was pivotal for Face career...it gave him exposure to a younger and wider fanbase in general...I was 12-13 during this era I always knew his hits and rep but this album made me a true fan and eventually delved deeper in his earlier work...

I could see why his core fans where down on it....but face is a universal artist it make no sense for him to be restricted to one-two formula...

It's a good album but not a 5 mic'er and barely cracking the top 5 of his career. More than anything Face needs his props for an album of this caliber to not even be a top 3. shyt I was just bumping that Mr. Scarface is Back and that shyt still goes. The fact that is made in 91 is nuts the way he was spitting.
