I liked it. The death scenes were on point. What movie were you watching. The guy gettin destroyed by those poles on the bridge. The girl in the lasic eye surger. The guy falling onto the hook or whatever. Come on. There was enough :skip: for everyone. Probably the best ending to a horror franchise in the history of horror films.

I didn't see the ending coming at all, so as I watched it (after seeing the turrrible FD4) I was taken aback at the serious tone. But, it made perfect sense in the end. :jawalrus:

i re-watched the movie on HBO go
noticed the old ass cellphones, the old ass cars, black dude made a reference to the Sixth sense "I see dead people"

i was like :obama: good job, excellent ending...
2nd best Final Desination next to Pt 2 it took 3 sequels to get it right again :wow:

final destination series is awful outside of pt 2 and this one... pt 1 is aight

Now, the Lisa Loebb and Sixth Sense references make sense. And, the fact that none of them googled anything about the previous deaths. Google wasn't around in 99, right? :ohhh:

Can't wait to watch it again. :russ:

Google came out in 98. So...it probably wasn't as popular then.

At first, Final Destination 5 felt like a waste of time.

How does a bridge crumple like paper with no real concrete (pun intended) evidence given? Why's there so much dialogue? Where's the gory deaths? Candyman appearance; cool, but why is the movie taking itself so serious? Killing someone else will take your death place, okay. The black guy's actually going to make it. Those were my random thoughts throughout the flick.

All that change, when the two couples got on Flight 180, and you saw the tie-in to the first Final Destination. I sat up for a good minute like :ohhh::wow:

They got me good. It also redeemed what otherwise was a shytty movie. Now, I have to rewatch to see, if I could pick up on the clues that explains it being a prequel to the original.

Final Destination 1 and 3 are my favorites from the franchise.

I fukkin hate that they feel the need to show how characters learn that "death has a plan" and blah blah blah. Yeah we get it, get to the death scenes!!! The movie could start anywhere during death's rampage and NOBODY would be confused. Shyt, we don't even have to have main characters, just a bunch of kids getting annihlated 90 minutes straight with the latest CGI and make up there is to offer. At 2 minutes a death scene that's 45 deaths!

Simply put, death does not like to be cheated. When it's your time, it's your time. They had it coming regardless. lol

Seeing this for the second time, I missed the big clue that made it clear this was a prequel to the 2000 Final Destination. The Chinese massage parlor ticket expiration date said 2001. :ohhh::jawalrus:

If they were to do another one; the setting should be a new state of the art skyscraper, and on opening day everybody gets shredded as the structure kaboom :jawalrus:

Wait, is that too sensitive :snoop:
